The pair follow the same two-toned approach as the original and released just before the Indigo colorway iteration. Indeed, the pair displays a butter black leather upper and contrasting yellow lizard-patterned leather mudguard.

The rest of the silhouette is sleek and understated. Indeed, black laces, silver hardware and a black leather tongue help to highlight the embroidered yellow Jumpman and the “Two 3” branding. A nod to Michael Jordan’s nostalgic player number. A carbon fiber midfoot plate, black Jumpman and two black traction pods on the yellow outsole follow the styling cadence of the original Air Jordan 12 Retro from 1997.

Furthermore, tonal top-stitching is placed throughout the sidewalls, webbing out from the shoe’s yellow base. The Air Jordan 12 Retro Black University Gold is another iteration of the iconic design.
