Rhassoul Clay has been used for over 1400 years as soap, shampoo and skin conditioner. Ancient Roman and Greek nobility praised and documented the use of this unique Moroccan clay and it is used today in the finest spas and health resorts around the world. Among the many benefits of this clay are its ability to reduce dryness and flakiness of the scalp, removes surface oils without drying and replaces the oils with valuable and beneficial trace minerals.
This bar was created for those of you with brunette locks. We started with organic coffee oil and triple strength coffee to enrich and brighten dull brown hair. The natural oil from coffee beans adds luster to dry brittle hair. A German study has shown that caffeine promotes hair growth.
We used Rosemary, Tea Tree and Lavender Essential Oils in this bar. Rosemary Essential oil stimulates the hair follicle making your hair grow longer and stronger. It is also believed that rosemary oil slows down premature hair loss and graying of hair.
Tea Tree essential oil works to help purify the scalp. It helps unblock sebaceous glands and encourage the flow of the body's own moisturizing oils, while clearing away unsightly dead skin cells.
Lavender Essential Oil helps regulate oil secretions of the scalp and helps repair damaged or over-processed hair.
We have infused the luxurious oils we use to make this bar with hair loving herbals. Nettles, horsetail, marshmallow root and comfrey combine to give your hair and scalp fantastic shine and conditioning. Nettles have also been cited as encouraging hair growth while the emollient properties of marshmallow root softens and horsetail is loaded with silica and helps strengthen the hair shaft and split ends.
Put all these wonderful natural products together and you have the ultimate in shampoo bars created especially for brunettes.
Our shampoo bars have no synthetic ingredients or additives.
If you have never used a shampoo bar before or are not currently using one here is some information that you will find important to you.
Commercial shampoos contain "conditioners" that weigh the hair down. When you begin using your shampoo bar these conditioners will be gradually stripped away. This may make your hair feel "stiff or sticky". DON"T PANIC! This is easily taken care of by using a vinegar rinse ( 1 part Apple Cider Vinegar to 3 parts warm water) for at least the 1st week.
Pour the vinegar rinse over the hair and using your fingers distribute it throughout your hair and then rinse. The vinegar removes that extra sticky, stiff "junk" from your hair. The extra value added when you do this vinegar rinse is that it balances your hairs ph and it gives you beautiful shiny and soft tresses.
We recommend Apple Cider Vinegar even though most any type of vinegar would work. It would work, but not nearly as well. ACV or Apple Cider Vinegar has been proven to be very effective in balancing the pH levels of scalp tissues, removing product build up, dirt and controlling dandruff.
