Genuine Leather Portfolio with Flap Handmade - Made in the USA
This portfolio note pad holder is approximately 14.25" x 10.25" and comes in genuine saddle tan leather with antique edging. It snugly holds a manila folder (8.5" x 11" size) with 80 sheets of paper and an ipad with case (shown above). The flap has a pewter swing latch which makes it a hybrid of the regular portfolio and the briefcase
It is finished with a natural conditioner to give it a rich authentic look. As with my other pieces, it is cut, punched, tooled, sewn with a waxed cord, and finished by hand. No machine touches any of my work. As a matter of fact, every piece is hand rubbed by me, with lamb's wool, until the finish has a perfect satin glow.
My makers stamp is on the back which validates its authenticity and it will last a lifetime. The entire piece is hand made all the way down to the burnished antiqued edges and the scalloped stamping on the front and back. This is 100% cowhide...as real as you can get. You may have your name "branded" first and last, in a script font at no charge. It would be an absolutely unique gift for birthdays or for the executive or sales professional wanting to make a statement.
This piece originates with the finest grade "A" leather from US based Herman Oak Tannery. The dye that I use will reveal all of the beautiful grain which is not seen by most commercially processed leather that has a "painted on" finish.
Remember..any serious leather worker who does authentic work will have a maker's stamp. No imports, "imitation hand mades" or machine sewn items come from my shop.
