Mid Century English Bone China Teacup and Saucer Consort Fine Bone China Made in England. Classic English Teacup with dainty handle and lovely Yellow Roses Circa 1950's Mid Century. It is from a time when ladies celebrated their friendship with afternoon tea and gifts of teacups to have a remembrance of the times shared. Approx. 4 1/2" diameter across cup and handle Cup approx 3 1/4" tall Saucer approx. 5 1/2" across. Lovely spray of gold roses with gold accents on cup and saucer edges.
Please note that vintage items are at least 20 years old and have had a prior life and will have some normal wear and imperfections appropriate with the age. As we also have a retail shop; some items listed could also be in the shop concurrent to being listed here and they could be subject to a previous sale. Most items shown are listed exclusively here. Note will be made if an item is also in our retail store. If an item has been sold, you will not be charged for purchase and you will be notified.

Vintage means an items not recently made--it may have been used or worn in the past and usually only one is available for purchase and may be in as-found-condition. Items are offered with the understanding that this is an old vintage item that may show signs of wear or previous use and may require cleaning. If you have any questions, be sure to e-mail us before purchase.
PAYMENTS: We prefer Paypal payments. Please check with us to make arrangements for other methods of payment if desired. Please make sure you have the correct address/shipping information/e-mail on record with Paypal(especially if you have recently moved or have not used your Paypal account recently). Also, if paying by e-check, please make note of Paypal's policies concerning release of money and shipping. There will be a delay from time of payment and funds are cleared and the time when item is shipped. I will send e-mail when item is shipped so that you can watch for it. Thank you for your cooperation. If something comes up and there will be a delay in your payment, please contact us. Things do happen and we are easy to work with but we do insist on communication. Buyer to e-mail and send payment within 3 days.
We do keep your address/order/e mail information in a secure file and will from time to time send communication concerning specials/sales but do not share your information with other parties unless required by law. If you would prefer to not have your e-mail/ address retained, please let us know and we will remove your data from the files.
We generally ship within 72 hours after receiving your order and notification of cleared payment unless otherwise noted. Please let us know if you have a deadline for receiving the order. We generally ship 1st class or priority. Shipping cost is figured on this upgraded service and does include a small amount for cost of packing, Insurance is not automatically added to each shipment but will be noted on listing if included. INSURANCE is not included unless noted. Check with us on insurance if desired. Request for insurance must be made before purchase. Please e-mail a request for shipping with additional insurance so that your total shipping cost can be adjusted to include insurance before paying if you will be having additional insurance coverage. No refund will be given for "lost" packages, so, if you would like insurance, please let us know before checkout and it will be added to the total if applicable. We are not responsible for damaged, lost or undeliverable packages. We take great care with our orders and carefully package and check each order before the package leaves our office in preparation for be delivered to the postal shipping service. Once we deliver the package to the shipper (UPS or postal service), the package is in the hands of the shipping company and it is in transit to you. Insurance is recommended if item (s) are breakable or have value. Please retain box and all packing materials if item is insured and suffers damage in transit. Notify when item arrives no later than 7 days after arrival. Photos will be neede of all packing material, box and item for insurance claim--keep all packing, box and the item until the claim is settled. No not destroy or throw away until claim is settle--keep in your possession. Buyer pays for actual shipping, handling and insurance and a small amount for packaging. We try to keep costs down for you. Unfortunately, the shipping companies fees are higher these days and we have to pass that cost on to you, but where we can, we try to save for you and sometimes reuse boxes and packing materials for a "greener" footprint. Please contact us if you are ordering multiple items on a single order shipped to the same address. We can give a quantity discount on the shipping. If shipping cost not on listing, please contact us before purchase with location and zip code and/or country to determine the shipping/handling/insurance cost. I generally ship within 24 to 48 hours of the finalization of the order. If there is to be a delay, I will let you know and will e-mail you with an explanation. We generally do not ship out of the US but I would consider a request on an individual basis. I will ship out of the US but customer will be at their own risk with shipment. I will not declare item as "gift" to avoid duties and if any item is held at the receiving country's custom office, I cannot be held responsible for replacement or refund. If item is to be shipped out of the US, please contact me before purchase to clarify costs and if transaction will be possible to complete.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL but we will consider returns on a case by case basis. Due to the nature of vintage, we may have some restrictions on returns of vintage items. Request for returns must be made in a timely manner. Returns will be subject to a restocking fee. Postage is not refundable. Item must be returned in same condition as sent out and in the same manner as it was sent out with a tracking number/insurance/original packaging. All returns must have approval from WhenRosesBloom before a return will be accepted. We do not accept returns without prior notification of desire for a return and without approval for return from WhenRosesBloom. Insurance claims for items damaged in transit must be noted when package arrives and no later than 7 days after package arrives. All packing must be kept and photos are needed shoing damage to item and also photos of packing box and materials. Hold all until claim is settled--do not send back or throw away.
Returns must be authorized for returns to be accepted and are subject to a restocking fee of 10% and return reimbursement will be for item amount not including shipping/handling/insurance costs. Generally, all sales are considered final. If return authorization is granted, item must arrive in same condition as sent out--item must be in condition to be listed for purchase again or refund will be forfeited by buyer. The item must be returned via the original carrier(unless agreed otherwise in writing), in it's original packaging, insured (if available) for its purchase price, and must be received in the original condition as when it was shipped to you with the shop's tags and identifying marks intact. We recommend that delivery tracking and delivery slip is used.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE PIECES ARE NOT MINT, NOR ARE THEY PERFECT BUT THEY SURE ARE FULL OF CHARM & HISTORY AND SURE ARE INTRIGUING. WHAT WOULD THEY TELL US IF THEY COULD TALK?
