Quilt Ideas had its beginning in the hearts of Loren & Sharon Wilhelm. Both being piecers and quilters, they needed an outlet for their talents.

Sharon was previously the owner of two retail businesses: Country collectibles, and for ten years, "Sharon's Quilt Depot of McKinney, Texas". Having moved away from retail, she now has time to create quilts for teaching classes, patterns to sell retail and wholesale: quilts, blocks of the month, embroidery and punch needle.

The love of her life and chief cheerleader, Loren, a quilter himself, loves to work by her side in the sewing room, also designing, piecing, and quilting. He is so creative that he has begun making "Quilt Hangers and Accessories" which includes quilt clamps, ladders, 2- and 3-fold screens, ruler holders,ironing boards, along with some smaller items of thread spool inserts, decorative thread holders, folded heart quilt holders, and more to come.
