Hummingbird Heaven, Birds Wildlife Flowers Garden Watercolor Original

I am experimenting with watercolor in this painting. I have always worked very tight and want to loosen up. It is a stretch for me to depend solely on the colors and movement, rather than being so controlled. It will take time for me to achieve this goal with my artwork, but I will continue to practice. You as the viewer can watch my progress and hopefully like the results as I grow. Watercolor is a challenge especially since I have not been formally trained. The flowers are representative of poppies, and the flora at the bottom is simply little blue flowers. The hummingbird was fun and seems to fit the garden theme. I hope you enjoy it. I used acid free watercolor paper and several types of watercolor, Reeves, Daniel Smith, and Windsor & Newton.
