Throwing out bottles always made me feel guilty, as if I were disposing of a living organism that still had breath in it. That’s why I started rescuing them and endowing them with a new purpose. "Vineyards" makes for an interesting sculptural element for the mantle or shelf or you can insert a candle in it and set it on a table for a centerpiece. “Vineyards” consist of a tall wine bottle serving as a pedestal for a second, smaller bottle, from the underside of which emerges a tangle of dark crimson tendrils – actually, coils of grape vine. It celebrates the process of wine from vine to vessel.
