It started as one large piece of art glass that I created in my studio. It was a foot long, very thick bar of glass that looked like the ocean, and I cut many pendants from that bar adding sealife images. Realizing that grouped together in a display they looked like a family, I began to split similar graphic art enamels, creating pairs of matching pendants--each unique but part of the other. These pairs became popular, particularly at art show. (If you're familiar with my single pendants, you'll note the pricing for two is a good value!)

The design is permanently enameled to the top layer creating a 3D effect on the glass--a very substantial ~1.5" bold, gorgeous work of wearable art with a bit of dichroic glass. The ripple background is glass that I've crushed fine and fused into the bottom layer...yes, I like detail!

Many layers of hand cut glass are part of this pendant, requiring careful attention to placement, multiple visits to the kiln over days, and lots of hand cutting and polishing. My pendants are thicker than most, ~ 3/8". The pendant is finished with a heavily silvered art bale that will accept your up to 1/4" chain or chord. These are an explosion of color and conversation starters.

Glass is ALWAYS more spectacular in person, monitors do not do it justice. Please note that I do not enhance colors in my photos.
