Aimless Diaries are personal mythologies created by artist Kim Nicolini. They explore a life lived occupying the female body in a world where threat lurks over each horizon and around each corner. The Aimless Diaries offer alternate visions of a girl's life, from childhood to her 50's. Painted on 9" x 12" archival paper in the rich color of Japanese watercolors, each piece is vibrant with life and hope even when exploring the darker side of life. Each painting comes with a vignette written in Kim's poetic prose, creating grown-up fairytales in a world gone wrong.
The first three paintings sold will include a complimentary Aimless Diaries mini-book containing full color prints of all the paintings in the series.
