Triple Spirals Over Green Glass
This was an experiment, quite frankly. Liz Rehder (abacusbeads) sent me this bead along with a larger order, and I decided to try my hand at wire-wrapping from a tutorial I found online. This is not the first attempt at wire-work I've made, but it is the first of its type. The bead is rather a silvery-teal color, diamond shaped and ridged diagonally across its surface. It is bound vertically across both its faces by triple waves of copper wire with a cluster of rings and spirals gathered at the top, just below the three-pronged spread inverted triangle bail. The pendant is suspended from a brown suede cord, and if purchased, will be supplied as such, although a silk cord or copper chain would work equally as well. This pendant would be suitable for a woman, or a man with a penchant for the avant-garde. Can be worn with either side facing forward.
