This solid glass paperweight consists of clear glass and ruby and pink coloring. During the shaping of the piece the ruby and pink coloring swirls, blends and creates intricate patterns within the paperweight, patterns completely unique to this piece. The entire effect is very liquid, natural, and quite beautiful. In order to make the piece even more special I not only cut and grind the bottom so that it sits steady, but I also polish the base to give a window up into the piece, where the color swirls and dances - personally I find this very neat, and believe it adds to the piece. Each piece is individually signed on the bottom.
