Details

Pretty amethyst chips range in colors from the palest lavender to the deepest African amethyst purple. The amethyst chips are mixed with faceted pink crystal rondelles and silver-plated rondelles. Spaced throughout the bracelet are white porcelain beads that have been painted with a floral pattern. On each side of the porcelain beads are faceted green crystal rounds. Amethyst chip dangles swing from each end of the bracelet.

This bracelet is made of stainless steel memory wire and will wrap around an average wrist at least 3 times. The beauty of memory wire is that you never have to worry about fit. Also, memory wire will never lose it's shape or break.

*4mm faceted green crystal rounds
*5x8mm faceted pink crystal rondelles
*2.25 inch .60 Soft Flex memory wire

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

Its color is as unique as it is seductive, though in fact this gemstone of all gemstones is said to protect its wearer against seduction. The amethyst is extravagance in violet. For many thousands of years, the most striking representative of the quartz family has been a jewel coveted by princes both ecclesiastical and secular. Moses described it as a symbol of the Spirit of God in the official robes of the High Priest of the Jews, and the Russian Empress Catherine the Great sent thousands of miners into the Urals to look for it. In popular belief, the amethyst offers protection against drunkenness - for the Greek words 'amethystos' mean 'not intoxicated' in translation. This is the official birthstone for February.
