Simple and unassuming, this cuff bracelet gives off a quiet strength - yet will never wear the wearer; you'll always own its look, and can wear it pretty much anywhere with anything. It just might become your go-to piece.

The two main bars were hammered down from heavy 4-gauge triangular sterling silver, after being soldered together at both ends, which were then filed down round and smooth. After the cuff was pried open, formed, shaped, tempered and smoothed, the natural, untreated, drilled faceted stone fragment was then firmly wired in with 20-gauge sterling silver; overall, it's well-assembled and quite solid - there's no slack, sag or wiggle. It's also very comfortable, on a wrist measuring six and one-half inches around.

All of the metal is solid sterling silver, with no added treatments - it'll pick up a soft, mellow and completely natural glow just from your own body oils plus daily wear and tear - exposure to the atmosphere will slowly develop the kind of patina that cannot be had by any other means but simply time. This lovely bracelet will be adorned by your life, as surely as it will adorn your wrist.

This comes gift-wrapped in a brown kraft box bearing my brand label, with cotton box filler and designer tissue imprinted with pen-and-ink dragonfly images, and black raffia-style glossy ribbon. The ribbon will be loosely tied, so that you may inspect your purchase before presenting as a gift.

One-of-a-kind; this piece was handmade by me in my home studio, here in the Yolla Bolly Wilderness area, in the east-facing foothills of the Mendocino mountains in northern California.

I take deep pride in my work; each piece is infused with its own personality by the time I've finished it, even if it bears some similarity to another I've made earlier. Because these creations have life for me, I will gladly repair anything untoward that may happen to it in the normal course of wearing.
