These copper dangle earrings bring together rustic Czech glass spiral shell disks and warm reddish orange faceted carnelian beads in a simple but lovely earthy hued design. The "stars" here are the spiral shell beads, which the carnelians (8mm) complement beautifully.
These Czech-made beads are fun just to look at! Such beads are handmade, and so no two are exactly alike. These two go together well, and their spiral impressions really catch the eye. They have a nice texture, and their color is a mix of brown, rust, and green, with very slight pinkish accents toward the center on the front of beads. Please note that these are rather large beads (almost 3/4 of an inch in length) and so do have some weight.
Small copper beads and daisy spacers border the spiral shells, with an extra copper bead at the top of the carnelian rounds. A wire wrap was also used at the top of each dangle, and they have copper-plated hooks. Clear earnuts (aka ear stoppers) are provided to help keep this pretty pair more secure on your ears.
The length for this pair is around 2 inches including the ear hooks. Please see my photographs for a picture that includes a ruler measurement.
All in all, this is a lovely pair of earrings and especially nice for anyone loves the sea.
