1/144 Resin Douglas A-26C Invader "Neva Hoppen"

This item is an unassembled handmade "garage resin" 1/144 scale model kit of a Douglas A-26C Invader "Neva Hoppen". Note the Builtup is a glass nose bomber version.
The kit was designed by Don's Custom Models. The beautiful decals were designed and printed by Yuuichi Kurakami [Y-Kraft] in Japan. This kit was molded and cast in SC.

The kit is all-resin with drop tanks and landing gear and includes the Y-Kraft decals, scale drawings and a color guide for painting and placement of the decals. There is an option clear resin canopy section but a simple conversion is required to use it. The finished model is perfectly presentable with a painted canopy.

Obviously this kIt is intended for experienced, advanced modelers and collectors...and not for children.

The A-26/B-26K Invaders had a long service life with several countries and saw plenty of combat in Korea and Vietnam with the US Air Force, Navy and Marines.. They were used for a wide variety of missions and dozens of different paint schemes.
