Smith Amethyst Purple Carnival Glass Bowl Hobstar Pattern is an absolutely stunning piece. This beautiful carnival glass bowl is a large classic geometric Hobstar pattern with a saw tooth edge on the scalloped edge. This is a heavy bowl that weighs just under 5 lbs and measures 4 3/4" tall and 8 1/4" wide and the glass at the rim measures a substantial 3/8" thick.
The arched Hobstar sections alternate with inverted triangular-shaped sections with a star design. The underneath side of the bowl features a starburst design.
Excellent condition, this bowl is in amazing condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. There is one small fleck to the interior which may be a part of the manufacturing process. Either way, it has not affect as to the wonderful condition of this bowl. Carnival glass is highly collectible and this bowl is fabulous.
