Carrollton H Porcelain China Saucer 18kt Gold Trim Rose Antique

Antique Vintage Carrollton Porcelain China Tea Cup and Saucer are in wonderful pristine condition and dates to pre-depression era, circa 1900-1930. The H represents High Grade. The dishes are trimmed with lovely and dainty pink roses set against a powder blue background with a handpainted row of scalloped 18kt gold trim to accent this pattern. The same decorative gold rim is on the inside of the cup as well. Please note that this offer is ONLY for the Saucer and there is an offer for a saucer and cup in the store as well. These dishes are from Carrollton, Ohio and are quite rare high grade pre-depression porcelain with 18kt gold gilt trim.

The majority of these are in pristine mint condition. These pieces are remarkable, with no crazing or evidence of their age. This china is in such outstanding condition that typically where I would be conservative, I have taken the liberty of comfortably rating these 100 year old antique dishes as mint. They seem to have never been used. There are a few with some instances of light crazing which when inventory is near the end, I will call out. I acquired these pieces from their original owners and they had been with the same family all these years.

The brick and China manufacturers were big during this time period, employing hundreds of employees. Communities with many other small businesses sprang up around the Carrollton Plant.
