Native American Rug #8 Loom Cuff Bracelet Bead Pattern

Details

I also offer a peyote pattern for this design. This is for the pattern only and is not for a completed bracelet.

DESCRIPTION OF PATTERN:
The pattern uses 6 suggested Delica colors and it measures 2.2 x 8 inches. Sold as a digital download, this bracelet pattern can be used as a panel, hatband, bookmark, choker, credit card holder, amulet, etc. by reducing or enlarging the pattern accordingly and/or using different size beads.

The PDF file includes:
1. a large color image of the pattern,
2. a large symbol graph,
3. a word chart that reads left to right always for the loom pattern and
4. a list of suggested Delica colors with the amounts of suggested beads needed.

Print the page/s you want: Print 10 pages for both the symbol graph and word chart or print 4 pages for the symbol graph only. This design may be loomed or stitched using either the square stitch or the flat herringbone (Ndebele) stitch. THIS PATTERN DOES NOT INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOOMING, SQUARE OR FLAT HERRINGBONE STITCHES. YOU MUST KNOW ONE OF THESE METHODS TO CONSTRUCT THIS BRACELET.

Thanks for visiting and checking out my designs. Come back soon, as I have 100s of patterns that I will be listing in the future to my store, Beadholden Designs.
BEad HAPPY!

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I hope you find my designs interesting and stimulating, as I love to dabble in geometric, abstract, repeating, tiled and tessellated patterns. You will have conversational pieces of art when you wear my designs. I started designing because I got tired of redesigning 6 to 7 inch bracelet patterns, making them longer and sometimes twice as wide as the original pattern. My patterns are generally between 7 to 8 inches long and 1.5 to 2.25 inches wide. Of course you can make my patterns shorter, thinner, longer or wider because they are usually repeat patterns or use size 15s to create a smaller bracelet with a much more intricate design.

My patterns can be used to make: cuff bracelets, ear rings, pendants, sun catchers, panels, hatbands, headbands, bookmarks, chokers, credit card holders, business card cases, checkbook covers, lighter case holders, tea candle covers, amulets, beaded bags, cosmetic bags, wall hangings, appliqués, belts, guitar straps, beaded straps, eyeglass cases, pouches, coasters, place mats, change purses, key chains, fan pulls, bell pulls, napkin rings, dog collars, horse gear, doll house rugs, etc.

More Info

Be sure to email me at beadholden@msn.com to get my 4 COMPLIMENTARY PDFs, for size 11s and 15s, which list the Delica 'Safe Beads' I have compiled. I don't suggest any dyed or galvanized beads in the palettes because they fade and the color rubs off with time. I also don't use satin/silk beads because they tend to cut the beading thread and because they are thinner than other Delicas, they break very easily. It would be a shame to put money, time and effort into your piece only to have the color change, the thread cut or the beads break. I want your beaded art to last forever. The colors of my designs are only suggestions, but please remember to avoid dyed, galvanized and satin/silk beads, so you won't be disappointed later.

The 4 COMPLIMENTARY 'Safe Beads' Lists also indicate the bead finishes that will either pop or recede in your beadwork. The P or R after the Delica's Mfg # represents whether the bead (P)ops (comes forward) or (R)ecedes (fades into the background) of the design. PR or RP indicates that the bead can either pop or recede depending on the type of bead finish it is next to. Keep this in mind if you change my suggested colors.

Please take the time to read my "Studio Policies" before placing your order.

Don't let the licensing agreement described below discourage you from making and selling anything based on my designs. What I have done with beaders who wish to sell items made from my designs is a simple agreement whereby they:
1. Send me usable photos of the finished product so that I can then use the photos to show prospective buyers that the pattern works up well;
2. Supply me a list of the bead colors/sizes & manufacture's name that were used to bead the piece if the original colors were changed;
3. Give me credit wherever they list the product and to post a link back to me when possible.

When I use your pic/s, I will give you credit for the beading and link back to you when possible. Right now I have several beaders/sellers who do this. They sell the bracelets or other items in many places, including etsy and artfire, etc. They also do special consignment orders based on my designs as requested. Once you email me good, usable pics of a beaded piece, I will let you have a replacement pattern, of your choice, free and you will never have to buy my patterns again - you get one free pattern for each pattern you send good, usable pictures. Let me know what you think and I look forward to hearing from you.

WHEN PURCHASING A PATTERN, YOU AGREE UNDER COPYRIGHT LAWS THAT:
1. You will not copy or share any part of this pattern with anyone; including not using patterns for teaching purposes.
2. You will not mass produce this pattern and will only use the pattern for your personal, non-commercial use; you will not create something from this pattern to sell to anyone which includes: friends, charity events, craft fairs, on-line auctions, websites, etc., unless you contact me to arrange for a separate licensing agreement.
