An explosion of color is the only way to describe this Mexican serape custom handmade guitar strap. The strap is covered with hand woven Mexican cotton fabric in a multitude of shades of red, blue, orange, green, and yellow, with small highlights of white and black. The back lining of the strap is bright yellow.
The leather tabs are double-thick tan leather with crisscross whip stitching of heavy-duty waxed leather sewing thread, sealed with professional strength tanner's glue.
CONSTRUCTION - The guitar strap foundation is 2000-pound test commercial grade polypropylene strap material. The strap is 3 inches wide and, fully extended, approximately 6 feet long. The extra width and length of this strap make it the perfect guitar accessory.
I purchased this fabric from www.stylemexican.com. The fabric is woven in Mayan villages and the vendor buys directly from the weavers. Their selection is vast and absolutely stunning. I hope you will visit their site not only to appreciate the quality of their products but also the rich heritage of Mayan culture and handcrafts.
