Goddess Hecate, esoteric goods

The goddess Hekate, like many characters in mythology, changed her appearance over time. At first she was portrayed as a woman with loose hair and magical beads. Later, other attributes appeared in her image. Near her began to depict snakes that symbolized dark magic, and the image became more terrible. She was never portrayed as a beautiful woman or ugly, the face itself often remains ordinary. Dogs appeared around her - they carried out her assignments, and it was with their help that she controlled her possessions. She began to be portrayed as a woman with torches or burning staff. The head was divided into 3 parts. The goddess Hekate was depicted either with one body and a triple head, or as connected by the backs of 3 female bodies. For example, it is depicted on a statue in the Vatican, in the Chiaramonti Museum. A crown with spikes is worn on the head of the statue. Hecate's headdresses are also depicted in different ways - like a crown with spikes or large peaks, then as shrouded in snakes like Gargon. In each image there was at least one of the attributes - snakes, dogs, torches, dagger, spikes or triunicity.
