*This will fit a LOWER waist measurement of about 44 to 48 inches.
(you'll want to measure around where you would wear a skirt waistband at.)
*Seeing that we had several large industrial sized trashbags full of luscious scraps, I decided to get to work! I lovingly color-coordinated stacks and stacks of scraps from our splendid corsets, and here is the result! These skirts are pieced from two layers of scraps (one long and one short) and they are ruffled, layered, and stitched onto a thick printed elastic waistband that ties together at the front with two grommets. These would work AMAZINGLY well over my little bloomers I've been selling, or they make great overskirts. They are gorgeous for fairy or gypsy costumes, and these layers and layers of lush expensive fabric really look more elegant than raggy.
*Because these are made of scraps, the skirt you actually get might be slightly different than the one in the picture, as far as placement of scraps and where the fabrics were used, but it's definitely all the same colors and construction!
