Firebird, Great Addition to your Western Ware
Hi everyone, this is a new pattern inspired by one of my shop visitors that was looking for something specific, Thank you Steve Pravin. Here is what I came up with by what you told me you had in mind.
The phoenix, firebird or Thunderbird originated in ancient mythology and has gone through an Indian mythology tells of Garuda, a large mythical bird or bird-like creature and ... was reborn from the ashes after it was burned down in the American Civil War. The northwestern, plains and northeastern tribes, the thunderbird figure created the sound of thunder by flapping its wings and carried lighting under its wings. This is a symbol of strength and power.
This is a Native Inspired Hatband, This hat band has been hand loomed and it fashions 8 different Japanese glass seed bead colors. This beadwork is finished neatly with black leather tabs (ends). It finishes at 22 ½ in length, you then have a long matching lacing/tie to attach the hatband around the crown of your hat. This one will fit nicely on all hats size 7 or larger.
This hatband has sold recently, so I do not have one available in my stock at this time. But I could make you one made to fit your hat size in 10 days or less.
And as always, any adjustments to make this Hat Band yours (size, colors, etc.) is always welcome. Thank you for your interest in my hatbands and visiting my studio. Please contact me with any questions you might have.
