Water Lily Hard Tuber Propagation
Water lilies can be propagated by many means and this method is the most common amongst water lily growers.
When you receive the tuber and is packed in polymer gel. Open the bag and clean the tuber with clean water. After that, soaking the tuber in water temperature about 20-30C degree. Put it under the sunlight all the time. Change water if you see it cloudy or look dirty.
Sometimes as shown above you will have more than one plantlet growing from the tuber.
You still can keep this hard tuber soaking in water until they sprout again and again.
The hard tuber can have many plants in only one tuber and can sprout many times.
You can keep the hard tuber for many years.
I would urge everyone to try this method of propagating so you can share your lilies with others and give your self a chance to trade and collect other exciting specimens you do not have in your collection.
