Best quality hand-dyed batik cloth from Java, Indonesia.
This sarong piece was printed by the wax-resist technique known as batik. The wax was applied entirely by hand using a canting tool. This is known as 'tulis' or 'writing' batik.
The edges have a tiny hem.
