Mother and Son, number 17

Details

Continuing the series of bead weavings dedicated to a mother and son collaboration - this is graph #17. It is wonderfully abstract with a cubic direction.

Woven using a frosted lime green for the foreground design, on an iridescent emerald background, and uses the off-loom technique called square-stitch, in which each bead is woven through twice. It measures 5 1/4 inches by 4 1/2 inches.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

My son works wonderfully elegant, intricate geometric designs on graph paper; mom turns those into bead weavings, with color choices being a sometimes mutual decision.
