Each page has a slightly different URL so you would have to copy the URL that AF Kiosk is under and post it here on Artfire. The only people that will directly enter your AF Kiosk will be people from Artfire using that direct link. Other people will go directly to your wall according to the link you provide elsewhere.

Hope this helps!!

This is not quite true. If you have your default page set to land on ArtFire Kiosk...your page url does not require any extensions or additional page id's...you can check mine http://www.facebook.com/amdesignsbyangela

I recommend constructive posts - take a look around their page and interact with their posts, comment on their photos, "like" posts/photos.  Be a "fan" of what you see and let them know when you see something you like.  Think about the sort of interaction you'd like to see on your own page and follow the golden rule.  *smile*

Hi everyone. I don't post much in these forums and I haven't read each and every response here (my gosh - so many!), but I thought I'd participate here somewhat. I had already created my business page and had the required number of likes to obtain my own name (without all the numbers) before this Boot Camp started.

Now I really need to post more often to my page, and am interested to learn more about what is good to post besides announcements of new items listed . I do know that most of my sales have been from people I have developed a relationship with online, so I do want to engage my "fans" without making it too personal. That would belong more on my personal page I think. Also, I am interested to know if people post updates to both their personal profiles and their business pages? What are the pros and cons of each?

I also have signed up for a basic postling account so will be learning how best to utilize that for my business. Thanks for providing this forum and learning opportunity!

SHARING a page I found when I went looking for creating a vanity url on facebook - the article link is here:
http://kirstenrinn.com/2011/01/28/how-to-create-a-facebook-vanity-url-for-your-facebook-page/

Check it out -- In a nut shell, Kirsten Rinn says the facebook vanity url app wants you to create a facebook PROFILE vanity url FIRST --- BEFORE you can get to the place where you set up your facebook PAGE url.

Maybe that's why everyone is getting their PAGE URL tacked onto their PROFILE instead of their PAGE??? Hope this helps ;-)

Question about this:   if I like someone's business page as Personal Me will it show up on my personal page as "Lisa Raspino likes...."?   If this is the case, I'm not comfortable "liking" more than 2 or 3 pages a day since I really want to keep my personal page...well, personal.

I have added several pages as My Business Page favorites, but that doesn't count as a "like"?

I love the little dropdown so I can select which identity I want to use when posting on someone else's page.

Final question:  my Business Page defaults to my wall.  I see others that default to their AF Kiosk?  How is this done?   Pros or cons?

My solution for this was to actually set up two personal profiles.  My personal personal is my name Kristen Rice.  Then I have a "personal" profile for the my business Quirky Bits-n-pieces which then has the fan page attached.  This way if I want to help others increase the numbers I can like from the business personal account and still only see the shops liked if on my business account feed.  My personal account (Kristen) is just my friends and family.  I hope that made sense!
From my imagination to your hands I say Namaste,
