Next....Facebook doing something because it appears my Networked Blog is not working for me...unless it is do to me directing one of my domains to my blog, shouldn't have mattered, but systems do get tempermental:) I finally took a breath, and walked away from trying to set it up again. Couple days ago blog posts showed on pg, but not working again. Telling me to authenticate myself...put the networked blog widget on blog pg, but that does not appear to be good enough for FB. So, sent them darn notices out for some to authenticate me...I hate bothering people.
Next, using their validating they have for the feed url for my blog...it is matching what my blog shows, it goes blank, I add it back in, and blog gives me a red notice....I am not gonna mess things up there. So, have just walked away for a bit, and see if maybe things will set themselves:)
I didn't plan on it, but I have gained many more liking my page, and I truly wanted to Thank All for doing a generous thing.....Thank You!!:) I have liked many in return...sorry if I missed any, been trying to get ya'll. Along the way I have learned to like pages of interest to me, things pertaining to what I sell along with my interests...gives me a variety of people to connect with, and share with too. It has made things more enjoyable along with still doing business at the same time:)
* * * * * LOL:) My oh my!! I will be darned, but went back as it was bothering me a bit, clicked my blog icon on the sidebar....answered a couple of things, approved things, and now I have listings showing in that tab! What a deal!! Now....if FB does not chg anything else hopefully I have it set again:) Feels like Monday again, right everyone?:) Best of luck to all here:)
yes gaining likes from former clients and fellow artists is great, i definitely need to figure out how to attract new faces as well... still have to read all the links provided. I find that positive social proof as a huge tool. People like to hear testimonials. But having trouble driving potential clients to FB.
I am concerned about the privacy settings. FB pages adopt your personal page security and privacy settings, right? I have all of those super private because I often talk and share photos of my family and I don't want everyone to be able to see that. Is there a way to work around this? Or am I miss interpreting the information?
BTW having fun checking out everyone's pages. Thank you for coming by mine too!
Sparetire Design FB --- edited to add link :)

i think this is very important too, it helps people get to know a little bit about you and your interests and helps widen your net so to speak. it also gives people something to say or post about. it is ok that it is not directly related to your business, it sets up a situation to network and eventually bring it around to your business.
