Aack! What to do? What to do? I have Artfire as a temporary sight (Basic) to just list my destash beads. I'm not sure if I want a Pro account. Can anyone tell me that it is worth the money? Do I get more exposure going Pro?

There is no downside to opting-in.  The reason we can't simply give all of our Pro members this rate is that, with this deal, we are moving to a new credit card processor.  To get the deal, your subscription has to be handled by our new processor, we cannot offer this rate using PayPal or our previous credit card processor.

If you opt-in and we don't hit the mark nothing changes.  Pros with a locked in rate ($7 or $12) keep their locked in rate, Basics stay at basic.  If the deal goes through, everyone who opted-in gets the $5.95 rate.

2091- That's me. I am so glad that I have been doing my research while being new to Artfire. I joined early this month and have anticipated in going pro. I wanted to make sure I learned mostly what I need to learn to begin and get my shop set-up. I was going to go pro at the end of the month, but today is just as good. Look out for me cause I'mma coming........
Please do not judge me for not having my shop together. I got a great deal on Artfire!!!

Twitterbird opted IN! All I want to know is --- will your new credit card processor be as well known as "PayPal"? Will we lose sales because people will want to pay with PayPal?

I love ArtFire and have had lots of traffic and a some sales -- increasing all the time.

Will this affect how my customers pay for items in my ArtFire studio?
No, this promotion will in no way affect how your customers pay you for your work and it will not change how you operate within PayPal or other processors as a seller.   The only thing that would change is the rate at which and method you use to pay your ArtFire PRO subscriptions service.

Do you anticipate a move back to being able to use PayPal. I'm Canadian and don't really want the US charges on my card...with interest charges and exchange rates this $1.05 savings per month may not be a deal for me. If this deal goes through and I don't opt in for the $5.95, stay at my $7.00, am I going to loose the ability to pay with PayPal anyways?

As one of the few now paying $15.95/month, I sure hope we get there soon! I just registered and was number 2314.
Has everyone Facebooked this? Or Twittered? Or whatevered?
I want to thank Artfire for finally offering a deal to those of us already signed up (rather than just to new pro accounts). I feel loved and appreciated!

We won't be able to accept PayPal for this deal.  You are welcome to keep you PayPal account and subscription as is at the $7 rate, we are not forcing anyone to leave PayPal.

A fair warning though.  We do plan to run promotions in the future such as refer a friend discounts and other one time payment discounts that we won't be able to offer to members who pay with PayPal.  One of the main reasons we're moving to a new credit card processor is that the features and support offered by Brain Tree go above and beyond anything we can do with PayPal.
